    Description

    differential and integral calculus, differential equations and dynamical systems, complex numbers, multivariable calculus, Fourier series
    Training objectives

    - get familiar with basic concepts and techniques in Calculus for scientists

    - be able to illustrate these concepts and techniques with help of (counter-)examples

    - be able to apply these concepts and techniques to situations coming from one's field of study and/or related fields

    - be able to conduct a structured and critical reasoning in order to solve problems

    - be able to communicate this reasoning in a clear and precise way

    - be critical towards one's personal knowledge, and be able to evaluate one's certainty degree with respect to  intuitions
