    Die Veranstaltung führt in die empirische Sozialforschung ein und vermittelt einen Überblick über verschiedene sozialwissenschaftliche Konzeptionen und Herangehensweisen (qualitativ und quantitativ). Die Veranstaltung führt in die verschiedenen Schritte im Forschungsprozess ein. Ein Schwerpunkt der Vorlesung ist die Methode der Befragung. Die Übung erlaubt ein vertieftes Kennenlernen der allgemeinen Grundlagen sozialwissenschaftlichen Forschens und der Methode der Befragung.

    … kennen Sie kennen die Methode der „Befragung“ und wenden diese im Rahmen eines konkreten Forschungsprojektes exemplarisch an.

    … haben Sie sich mit der Rolle von Theorie und Empirie in der sozialwissenschaftlichen Forschung befasst und können wissenschaftliche Studien anhand gängiger Qualitätskriterien kritisch beurteilen.
