    Description

    Als 1992 die zweite Auflage der „Feier der Trauung in den katholischen Bistümern des deutschen Sprachgebiets“ erschien, war sie in vielerlei Hinsicht eine Innovation: Erstmals in der Liturgiegeschichte der römisch-katholischen Kirche konstatierte eine liturgische Ordnung den Religionspluralismus und Säkularismus der Zeit, indem es u.a. spezielle Formulare für Trauungen mit einem „Partner, der nicht an Gott glaubt“ aufnahm. Fast 30 Jahre später ist das rituelle Feld rund um Verlobung, Trauung und Partnerschaftssegnung noch vielfältiger geworden.

    Die Vorlesung gibt nach einer kurzen Situationsanalyse einen Überblick über die geschichtliche Entwicklung gottesdienstlicher Feiern um Ehe und Familie. In einem zweiten Teil werden die heutigen Formulare zur kirchlichen Trauung liturgietheologisch kommentiert. Ein dritter Teil beschäftigt sich mit dem breiten Repertoire neuer kirchlicher Segensfeiern für Paare, für die aus unterschiedlichen Gründen eine kirchliche Trauung nicht in Frage kommt.
